Francesco Guarnieri
was born in Rome on 28 August 1965.He was graduated in medicine in Rome at the Universita' Cattolica del Sacro Cuore on July 17th, 1990 with 110 votes out of 110 cum laude. He specialized in General Surgery in Rome, November 5, 1996 at the Rome University La Sapienza Second Surgical Clinic, Policlinico Umberto I.Since 1996 performs more than 1000 operations per year of general surgery and urology at the Clinic of Rome Guarnieri both as first operator and as assistant. Helped by his father Antonio Guarnieri, his main teacher, He has published several works in the field of digestive surgery and hernia surgery.The work regarding groin hernia has got international recognitions and publications on more important treaties and trade magazines. He covered the role in organizational responsibilities of administrative nature (data manager SIO) and the Department of Health (Deputy Director of Health).At present He is the head of the department of General Surgery at the Guarnieri Clinic where performs different kind of operations in general surgery, urology, oncology and laparoscopy.
He is co-owner of three private clinics in Rome, Italy (Guarnieri, Ars Medica, Fabia Mater).
